早在70年末80年初期，Two-Tone/Ska風潮席捲全球之際，Madness成為英倫先鋒部隊，打下國際一片江山，中間一度解體長達6年，但是超過40年的歌壇歷練，至今仍舊持續推出新作，在英國毫無畏懼後起新秀威脅，依然挺入流行榜前十強之林。
2005年發行的作品《The Dangermen Sessions (Vol. 1)》，送上一張翻唱特典，直奔英國金榜第11名。重新詮釋了：Prince Buster的〈Girl Why Don't You?〉、The Supremes的〈You Keep Me Hanging On〉、The Kinks的〈Lola〉、 Barbara Lynn的〈You'll Lose a Good Thing〉、Bob Marley and the Wailers的〈So Much Trouble in the World〉…等曲目！
